Registered Social Work

Attuned Families provides consultation and psychotherapeutic support to families and schools in the GTA. We use an individualized approach, drawing on research from the fields of Neuroscience, Developmental Psychology and Attachment. We address the root cause of social, emotional, behavioural and relational concerns so that families can find peace and children can reach their full potential.

With over 10 years of experience working with families, Michelle uses a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach and draws on multiple areas of knowledge to create a therapeutic environment that is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on meaningful change. Ranece Gordon is a Registered Social Worker with over 6 years experience providing support to children and families in a variety of settings. Most recently, Ranece has worked with children with Autism to support them in meeting social, behavioural, emotional regulation and academic goals, while attending closely their mental health needs.

Ranece creates fun, collaborative environments where transparency, trust and confidence are fostered to work towards improved family relationships, by employing evidence-based practices while allowing room for creativity.
